Tree Removal

Trees are gorgeous and serve an important function, so they should be preserved at all costs, however, they can also present issues that leave you with no choice but to remove them. In cases like these, you must have a professional remove them, as tree removal can be a dangerous job for those who do not have the appropriate training or tools. As trained arborists, Tree Services Aurora will ensure that your trees are removed safely and without damage to your property or neighboring properties.

Diseased trees and pest infestations

Trees, much like the humans that care for them, can get sick. Not all diseases are terminal for trees though. Many issues can be easily remedied by a professional tree doctor. Unfortunately, not all diseases are curable though, such as white powdery mildew, apple scab, cedar rusts, and much more. Your infected trees can also pass their disease onto neighboring trees if not caught in time. It is best to give us a call to allow us to determine whether your tree is salvageable or if it would be best to remove it. Sometimes pests can cause bigger issues for your tree (or you) than disease and may also create a need for removal. We will inspect to determine whether a professional pest controller can safely remove the pests or if the tree should be removed.

Dead or damaged trees

Property owners, particularly commercial property owners, will know the risks associated with having a dead or damaged tree on their property. A tree can become damaged for several reasons, such as an impact from a car or another object, harsh weather conditions, or due to animals. No matter the reason for the damage, a dead or damaged tree has a high likelihood of damaging property when it is under pressure from rain, wind, snow, or any other factor that could cause stress to the tree. It is recommended that you have a trained arborist assess the extent of the damage on your tree and determine whether it is salvageable or if it should be removed.

Overcrowding or unsightly trees

As we mentioned, trees are simply stunning additions to any outdoor space and offer a multitude of benefits to you, those around you, and the environment. Because of this, many new property owners plant an excess of trees while they are still juvenile, in the hopes that they can turn their property into a forest-like sanctuary. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to gauge the exact size that the trees will grow to and overcrowding of trees may make it near impossible to grow other plants, including grass and flowers. In cases like these, it is best to remove some trees to allow for a balanced biome on your property. Other times, it is not so much an issue of overcrowding, but rather an issue of unsightly growth on a tree. If you have overcrowding of trees or one that does not add any aesthetic value to your property, you should give us a call and allow us to assist you!

Encroaching and annoying trees

An ‘encroaching tree’ refers to one that is either damaging or poses the risk of damaging parts of your property due to its placement. Annoying trees may not be the direct issue but rather the cause of an issue, such as sap covering your building or vehicles. In both of these cases, where transplants aren’t feasible, it is best to remove the tree.
